"KICK-OFF" A SUCCESS!

The 2005 Campaign kicked off on Thursday, September 15th, 2005 at City Limits.

The new banner, a football field, was unveiled along with the 2005 objective of $593,000.

Elaine Myers, Campaign Manager introduced her Division Chairs. She thanked them and all their canvassers, stating "without them, my job would be impossible".

Cheque presentations were made. Elaine Myers announced that through special events that had taken place prior to the kick-off, other donations and that evenings' cheque presentations, the 2005 campaign began with $114,850.

The Campaign Manager also announced that the closing date for the 2005 Campaign will be Friday, December 16th, 2005.
