Volunteer Awards BBQ
Please help us recognize the following volunteers for their oustanding contribution to United Way of S.D. & G/Success By 6.
At our recent volunteer award lunch BBQ held on June 18th @ City Limits we recognized over 40 volunteers for there support and contrubution of time to the United Way during Campaign or Special Events. United Way would like to thank all our volunteers for there help. A special thank to Scott Armstrong, who led the 2008 Campaign, his Division Chairs, the Board of Directors for thier ongoing support.
A Special award for an oustanding contribution of $20,000.00 was given to Dr. Rachel Navaneelan, this will allow our Success By 6 volunteer Neighbourhood grant program to continue for another year.

The next award was given to Larry Lalonde for his contribution of time "Behind The Scenes". Larry comes to the United Way office twice a week and will do all kinds of chores for us, from stuffing envelopes to painting our offices.
