Who We Are
Big Brothers of Cornwall and District is a non-profit organization that has been serving the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Counties since 1973. .Since inception, BBBS has served over 1200 youth in Cornwall and the S.D & G. They are a member agency with BBBS of Canada. The purpose of the regular
program is to match boys and girls 6-16 years of age from lone parent families
with adult volunteers for friendship and guidance in a one to one relationship. Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Cornwall and District offers 6 mentoring programs. None of their programs have a cost for the children or their families

Big Brothers Big Sisters One to One Program
The magic all began with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters programs. Being a Big Brother or Big Sister today is easier than ever before. All you have to do is be a friend to a child. Pick up your Little Brother or Little Sister and do the things that friends do -go biking, play computer or board games, visit the library, make a craft or build a model -those kind of everyday things you both enjoy. Big
Brothers and Big Sisters are fun, spontaneous and great listeners who enjoy
being a positive influence in a Little's world by enjoying quality time with a great friend. A few hours once a week can make a world of difference.
