Bereaved Families of Ontario The Bereaved Families of Ontario is a self-help, mutual aid organization whose particular focus is to provide support for families who have lost a child to death. The agency has affiliates and satellites across the province.

Bereaved Families of Ontario for Cornwall and area has been in operation since 1985 and has become a viable source for bereavement support in the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry areas. All programs and services are offered free of charge.

Tailored to individual community needs, the Cornwall affiliate has extended bereaved support to other family losses, including loss of parents, siblings, spouses/partners, survivors of suicide and bereaved services for children/youth.

Each year in SD&G, thousands of people die leaving loved ones behind. Since 1985 this organization has been helping families cope with the loss of a loved one. Support is offered in many ways:
