Family Counselling Centre of Cornwall and United Counties
The Family Counselling Centre offers a wide variety of services. The Centre is committed to building healthy communities by empowering individuals, couples and families through counselling, educational services and system advocacy.
Credit Counselling Service
The program provides free and confidential individual support to anyone experiencing stress and problems due to over-indebtedness and/or money management difficulties. (Fees exist for the Debt Management Program).
Woman Abuse Counselling
The program provides free and confidential individual and/or group supportive counselling to women who have been or are victims of violence in a relationship. Violence can be physical, emotional, psychological, sexual or financial in nature.
Employee Assistance Program (E.A.P.)
The program provides confidential professional assistance for problems related to alcohol and drug abuse, emotional, personal family and financial difficulties which affect an employee's work and/or personal life. The service is available to all organizations that are willing to purchase counselling services from the agency to offer to their employees and families.
Family Counselling Services
The program offers counselling to individuals, couples, parents and families for the purpose of alleviating problem situations and encouraging positive personal growth.
Community Integration Services
The program offers advocacy, case management, networking and support counselling for adults with a developmental handicap.
Centre York Centre
The program offers separated and divorced families experiencing difficulties, a safe setting where visits and exchanges can take place without the children witnessing conflicts between parties.
Changing Direction
The program is an educational group for individuals who are physically, sexually and/or emotionally abusive towards their partners.
